David J. Shavzin

David J. Shavzin is President of Realize Results, Inc. (RRI), a management consulting firm created to assist organizations in setting and reaching their objectives, increasing profitability and maximizing their value through focused strategic business planning.

He excels in guiding partners and leadership teams through the complex challenges of strategic planning and decision-making. Through definition of long-term goals and design of a results management system, he has assisted a variety of organizations in achieving their objectives, all with a relentless focus on the bottom line.

Clients include professional services firms such as legal, architectural, healthcare and executive search practices.

David has over 20 years of experience in small business and large corporate environments in the U.S. and in Europe, as well as in the non-profit world as a board member and supplier. He has held senior management roles in each of these areas and understands their respective constraints and opportunities.

David’s early career was in banking followed by a role in Freddie Mac’s (The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation) corporate planning team as an internal consultant.

He then spent twelve years with Aventis. This included four years in Europe in corporate finance and global mergers and acquisitions work. David was later appointed Vice President of Operations & Finance for a North American subsidiary. He had responsibility for the Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance and Quality departments.

David is President of the Georgia Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), a committee chair of IMC USA, a Board member of the Fulton Education Foundation and is on the Executive Committee of Leadership North Fulton. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the International Business Association and the Small Business Committee of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

David earned an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in International Relations and French from the University of Wisconsin. David is fluent in French, conversational in Spanish. He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and three children.
